Jazz Hour at the Maiden’s Tower

Actually, this painting is a synthesis. I decided to bring home the street musicians I saw in Paris. They were playing in front of the famous Shakespeare and Company bookstore across from Notre-Dame Cathedral. Why shouldn't we make Istanbul more fun with them? I guess the Boatman needed to have some fun, too. A day when he is in good spirits! I hope yours are, too: Istanbul not Constantinople.

Acrylic on canvas, 40 x 40 cm, 350 USD
