ON THE EDGE OF A PRECIPICE: The Art of Diego Batkowski
Diego Batkowski, who lives near Buenos Aires, is another Instagram friend. I was moved by his powerful (and sometimes disturbing) artwork posts. They spoke of highly personal narratives that piqued my curiosity as both a curator and a lover of stories. I’m very grateful for the trust and openness Diego showed me in our numerous emails. Working in collaboration with graphic artist Athena Longoria (the designer of this website), my goal was to create a non-linear “mural” in tune with Diego’s artistic style and message.
