Buddha in Nirvana

Nirvana has three meanings: Enlightenment, Buddha’s Death, and Ecstasy. I had been longing to create Nirvana with clay. At my age, it is natural to think about death. It may be arrogant, but maybe by creating it, I thought I might be able to get even just a little closer to Buddha. So, while praying, I made this piece.
