Tsunami Requiem

This piece commemorates the terrible suffering of people in Japan after a catastrophic natural event. On March 11, 2011, a devastating earthquake (the fourth largest ever recorded) caused a massive tsunami. Waves traveled up to six miles inland. It is estimated that 19,759 people died and the lives of countless others were affected.
